Iran Is Targeting US Critical Infrastructure, Are We Heading Toward World War Three? Malaysian Prime Minister has warned that US mistakes in a conflict with Iran may lead us into World War Three. Recently Iran destroyed a US spy drone, though it was unmanned Trump ordered a retaliatory strike. He later decided that the retaliation was not worth the potential harm to human life. But even still after this it is being reported that Iran is targeting US infrastructure including oil and gas. Cyberattacks have the potential to cause catastrophic failure in large systems like oil refineries which incidentally we just saw blow up in souhtern Philadelphia. While there is not reason to believe these are realted in anyway I highlight as an example of some of the possibilities should a foreign actor launch a cyberattack against us. For now Trump made the right choice in standing down. But with Iran reportedly increasing its tactics against us it seems that war is inevitable.
