The past year has been a difficult year for everyone, in particular for those in abusive relationships. Unfortunately with coronavirus there has been a rise in physical abuse and coercive control (The persistent pattern of controlling, coercive and threatening behaviors).
It is important in times like these, where people may feel more trapped than ever, that we become more aware and vigilant to these kinds of behaviours. We as a nation strive for unity, often coining the phrase shoulder to shoulder. It's time to stop talking and start doing. Give everyone the opportunity to achieve greatness!
