 Reading Jeremiah 6:16 in Hebrew is different. As you see in the latter verse, there are a few differences as well as similarities.

I share this scripture because this is the verse Jesus refers to in Matthew 11:28. "And you will find rest for your souls."

 Join me as we discuss the latter part of Matthew 11:28.  Its Hebrew translation is, "and I will leave you" is a problematic interpretation without knowing the mindset behind what Jesus is saying. 

The reason for the issue is that the Messiah uses the word אָנִיחַ anikha, which is Aramaic for a camel's resting place.
