The Opposition is raising concerns over what it describes as the Government’s failure to distribute millions of dollars in Hurricane Melissa donations.

The concern follows the Auditor General’s report that, as of February, 88% of the funds remained uncommitted.

Chief Richard Currie revealed the nomination and election dates on his Instagram page on Sunday, but since then, there have been reports of an injunction to block the activities.It was sought by potential candidate, Meredith Rowe.One of Mr. Rowe's attorneys, George Traille, told IRIE FM News that the injunction was filed in the Supreme Court in Kingston last week and granted yesterday.
