The Jamaica Public Service Company (JPS) has stressed the importance of a growth strategy to expand its sustainability, amidst a significant slowdown in electricity sales.Late last year, the Office of Utilities Regulation (OUR) told a sitting of Parliament's Public Administration and Appropriations Committee (PAAC) that JPS' sales in megawatt-hours had slowed to about 1% from 2% in the last five years.
