Notre Dame improved to 3-0 on the season with a sometimes sloppy, sometimes dominant win over Florida State. It marks the second straight victory over the Seminoles, and the second straight 40+ game against Florida State by the Fighting Irish.
Irish Breakdown football analyst Vince DeDario and publisher Bryan Driskell break down the performance.

There were a ton of great questions in the latest installment of the Irish Breakdown Mailbag podcast. I probably should have cut it into two shows, there were just so many great questions. But it's one long show, and there's a lot of good content in here.
We talk about what Notre Dame needs to do to win a title, issues at quarterback, Ian Book vs. Phil Jurkovec, Kevin Austin, the talented 2021 receiver class, prospect Dont'e Thornton, the Irish offensive line and what needs to happen for the Irish to be able to beat Clemson.
That's not even all of the questions, but you just have to listen to get the rest.

After landing two commits last week, the Notre Dame 2021 recruiting class now has one of the nation's best group of wide receivers.
SI All-American recruiting director John Garcia joined the show to break down all three commits, how the group fits together and how they stack up against the nation's best hauls. The show concludes with Garcia breaking down the one player that remains uncommitted that could put this group over the top.

Former Notre Dame quarterback Steve Beuerlein spent time with Irish Breakdown publisher Bryan Driskell breaking down the 2020 Fighting Irish. The 17-year NFL vet discussed the strengths and concerns for Notre Dame on both sides of the ball, he broke down the four games after Clemson that give him the most concern, and he talked about the expectations for the Irish for the 2020 season.

The college football season is at risk. After months of keeping our mouths shut on the topic, it's finally time that Vince DeDario and I (Bryan Driskell) let our voices be heard. In our latest show we discuss why this push to cancel the season, or move the season to the spring, is misguided and based more on emotion, feelings, fear and agendas than it is data and putting young people at greater risk.
We talk about the data and science behind the need to let them play, how players are actually at greater risk if they don't play, and what is really driving this push to end the season. And simply saying "Play in the spring" doesn't address anything, because what will change in the next four months?
