This message focuses on God's vision for a man who would impact the ancient world and is still impacting millions today through his writings. And whether God's vision for your life is to start something, stop something, or do something that will change the world or just today - It’s time to trust God’s vision, obey God’s vision, and watch what God does with your obedience!
This message focuses on a friendship formed out of the most unlikely of circumstances (Jonathan & David). It serves us as a model of the power of strong friendships, no matter individual differences. Our goal should be to take steps toward friendships in our faith community for the mutual benefit of all.
This message focuses on a parable where Jesus is teaching his disciples to continually pray and not give up. There are three characteristics highlighted in this parable to effective prayer. The goal is to refocus our attention on this powerful blessing given to us by God, and as we begin a new year, it will become a part of our daily lives.
As we start this new year, this is an opportunity to reset and refocus the most influential part of your life--your mind. Your mind is like the CPU, the central processing unit for your life. All of our decisions are made in our minds. How we perceive the world is through the lens of our mind. What we create and the work we do all starts in our mind. And through Joshua's transition into leadership, we discover that the mind is transformed through the meditation of God's Word.
The woman at the well experienced the life changing power of Jesus. He transformed her heart and is able to transform our heart. This story is an invitation to those who don’t have a relationship with Jesus and a challenge to those who have grown cold in their walk with Christ. Just like the woman’s life was forever changed after she met Jesus, we too can experience a new heart and a new beginning in Christ.
The story of the Shepherds reminds us that when the Glory of God shows up, it literally changes everything!
The angels' announcement of the birth of our Savior is a reminder to us that we need to be saved.
