We compare and contrast where Abraham and Lot were sitting in Genesis 18:1-3 and 19:1-3 to see how where they positioned themselves ultimately influenced their trajectory (and world history!). In our May 2024 Ironworks study, we challenge ourselves to examine where we are sitting to ensure we are worshiping God correctly, avoiding destruction for ourselves and our families, and leading those around us to see our hope in Christ.

In Proverbs 27:17, we are reminded, “As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.” Our desire is to see men grow in their personal walks with Jesus and be equipped to fulfill their God-given role in this life.
