In the past decade (or longer) we have seen Canadians become more, and more divided. Justin Trudeau has certainly not done anything to bring Canadians together - frankly, neither has Pierre Poilievre - they seem far too interested in partisan rhetoric than being patriotic. But - with Donald Trump’s weekly, or bi-weekly threats to Canadian sovereignty something has shifted with Canadians.
