I’ve self-identified as a generalist for many years, or as I like to call it “a Jane of All Trades.”

It’s been a gift to know a lot about a lot.

I have knowledge about many things and continue to learn about lots of topics.

I think being a generalist is wonderful. It’s widened my perspective and made me an exceptional problem-solver and critical thinker.

But it’s also held me back – I’ve held me back.
