Where I once cringed at the mention of God, prayer, higher power, and Step 3, I now LOVE talking about the transformation they talk about in the chapter "We Agnostics" in the big book. I was once that person who thought they were screwed if the solution to my alcoholism was God. Pull up chair... you might hear something you can relate to...remember Hebert Spencer's wise words "There is a principle which is a bar against all information, which is proof against all arguments and which cannot fail to keep a man in everlasting ignorance - that principle is contempt prior to investigation."

Lisa and Julie are just 2 sober chicks who sit down and talk recovery, AA, the 12 steps, sponsorship, and how it works for them. Their main purpose in doing this podcast is simply to carry the message of sobriety and recovery and to bring a little hope into the lives of the still suffering alcoholic.
