Lieutenant Colonel Matthew Lohmeier has been relieved of his command in the U.S. Space Force. He should, instead, be decorated for his courageous leadership in another critical battlespace: the War of Ideas.

This impressive fighter pilot-turned-space warrior was cashiered after the Defense Secretary ordered members of the armed forces to drop everything to identify and root out “extremists” in the ranks. Colonel Lohmeier warned about the presence there of the most dangerous form of ideological extremism: Marxism. Indeed, he’s authored a new book on the subject entitled, Irresistible Revolution: Marxism’s Goal of Conquest and the Unmaking of the U.S. Military.

Evidently, however, in the Biden Pentagon, Marxist extremism in the services is actually permissible and those who disagree must be purged. That’s a formula for disaster for our military, our national security and our country.
