As women in our culture, we are habituated to this idea that we can’t say no, that we always need to be smiling, that we always need to make everyone around us comfortable, usually at the expense of our own comfort. And, very often, sadly, and unfortunately at the expense of our dreams. I know it’s not easy. I know it’s very difficult. I’ve walked this path and I continue to walk this path.
