• Meta Platforms (META) - Shares of Facebook officially began trading as Meta Platforms under ticker "META" as of Thursday.
• Whirlpool (WHR) - A contrarian play on inflation. Appliances are considered to be a durable good -- a product that doesn't depreciate quickly. The US Bureau of Labor Statistics Friday morning said core consumer prices rose 6% on a year-over-year basis, slightly higher than the 5.9% economist estimate.
• Stitch Fix (SFIX) - One of Friday morning's biggest losers. The stock was down about 30% following news of a Q3 miss and Q4 guidance that was at the lower end of the analyst consensus estimate range. The company also announced it will cut its workforce by 15%.
• Kroger (KR) - Will report quarterly results on Thursday of next week.
• Paltalk (PALT) - Shares of this penny stock were up about 25% following news the company will buy Visicom's ManyCom assets for about $2.7 million.
