In this episode we are going to tackle the age old question of the sabbath. Is it Saturday, is it Sunday, does it still apply to us at all? The episode argues that Jesus shifted the emphasis from legalistic observance to spiritual rest, as seen in Matthew 12, where Jesus challenges the Pharisees' rigid interpretation of the Sabbath. The host concludes that the Holy Spirit is the believer's true rest, making every day a Sabbath in a spiritual sense. While setting aside a day for worship is valuable, the podcast warns against divisiveness over which day to observe. It encourages listeners to seek a personal relationship with God and follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit in their lives.
