Acts 12 begins with James dead, Peter in prison, and Herod triumphing. It ends with Peter free, Herod dead, and the Word of God flourishing. This dramatic reversal reminds us that God’s plan doesn’t always feel fair, but it is always good. Even when evil seems to win, God is still writing the final chapter. Through crisis, persecution, and prayer, the early church discovered that God always has the last word.
