I was so excited when I first heard about the School House from the guys at Scrumptious. And, when it opened it was everything they said it would be. Then – sadly – it started started to fall apart a bit. At least as far as the quality of food went. It got to the point that I hesitated to take guests there because I wasn’t sure if we were getting the awesome and clever meals I’ve come to love… or the ones that seemed as though they’d been sitting on the kitchen for hours, reheated and eventually delivered to my table. My tolerance for most places isn’t this high but, for whatever reason, I really want this place to be as amazing as I think it can be…. and since the fire it has been.
