She is a twenty-something Christian entrepreneur, amateur snowboarder, and recovering over-achiever. It’s easy to fear that we’re messing up our kids. If I don’t steer my kids to the right college, they won’t find the perfect spouse, and their life path will be ruined. What if they miss out on a career opportunity?
Mindset: As a parent, we have control issues. We need to put our fake magical powers back into the magician’s kit and take a breath. This is not our burden to bear.
I can pray, trust God, and ask for support from other moms going through similar situations. But this is not our wheel to steer.
