ABOUT ME

I'm Isaac Carlson, a creator based in Orlando, Florida, and ever since I can remember I’ve loved Disney. My fondest childhood memories come from visiting Walt Disney World with my family. I grew up loving Spider-Man, Star Wars, Pixar, and the classic animated films from Disney. The stories, characters, and worlds I adored as a child eventually inspired me to create videos of my own here on YouTube, and it changed my life. On this channel, I explore the characters and worlds that ignite the child within all of us! My goal is to create a community built on wonder, positivity, and optimism where passionate fans can unite to celebrate the magic of animated films. Here, we believe dreams can come true.

How are cars alive in the World of Pixar's Cars? I mean we’ve always known that cars had eyes and mouths, but for the longest time I never asked: "Why?" I accepted that all vehicles were conscious entities who had their own desires and dreams, but over the last few years, I’ve begun to become obsessed with how the cars function and where they truly come from. Are they some kind of super intelligent robots or are they organic creatures? Are they assembled in a factory or do they biologically reproduce? I mean do cars have souls?

Did you know that Moana could’ve been a 2D animated film? It’s true! Early into production there was a debate around whether Moana should be animated using the popular 3D techniques of the time or whether they should continue the legacy of hand drawn animation that the studio had pioneered. But this debate didn’t just affect Moana. The decision to create this story in CGI led to the complete abandonment of traditional animation at Disney, and today I want to explain how that happened.

Why couldn’t Lightning McQueen beat Jackson Storm? I mean I understand that he was getting older, but Lightning was one of the greatest race cars of all time! How is it possible that the winner of seven Piston Cups couldn’t figure out a way to best him?

What is King Magnifico’s backstory? I mean long before Magnifico unleashed forbidden magic, brought the Kingdom of Rosas to its knees, and transformed into a true Disney Villain, where did he come from? What motivated him to build a kingdom and to study magic? And why was he driven to become a villain? I’m going to answer all of these questions and more as we break down all of the hidden complexities behind the vein, ruthless, and powerful: King Magnifico.

How did Doc Hudson die? I mean The Fabulous Hudson Hornet was a racing legend who spent his final years as the crew chief for one of the greatest race cars of all time - Lightning McQueen - so how is it possible that he couldn’t be repaired? It’s not like Lightning would have spared any expense getting Doc the necessary care and parts that he needed. I just assumed after surviving his career ending crash that he could live through anything! But even with all of the resources at his disposal in Radiator Springs and beyond, he couldn’t stay alive forever, and today I want to understand why.

Kung Fu Panda 4 has finally arrived, and there were some big promises that were made for this film. The Dragon Warrior was supposed to face his most heinous villain yet, The Chameleon, all of Po’s past enemies (Tai Lung, Lord Shen, and General Kai) were all returning in some way, and we were told Po would ascend to become the Spiritual Leader of the Valley of Peace. Zhen and Po were supposedly going to go the most epic adventure yet, but did we really get that? Unfortunately, I don't think so.

The official trailer for Inside Out 2 has arrived, along with many new emotions! In addition to Anxiety, there's Ennui, Embarrassment, and Envy, and they are ready to shake up Headquarters. Joy, Sadness, Fear, Disgust, and Anger are in for a fight to keep Riley safe, but will they be able to succeed?

Did Oogway let Kai take his chi? Throughout Master Oogway's life he was forced to make many difficult decisions to attempt to keep China safe, but did that include allowing himself to be enslaved by his oldest friend? Why was Po the one destined to defeat Kai? It's time to fully explore and explain what may have been going.
