Isaiah 6–10 begins with Isaiah’s vision of the LORD enthroned in holiness, where he is cleansed and commissioned to speak to a resistant people. Though his message will harden many hearts, a holy remnant is promised.

The chapters then move into the historical crisis of Judah, warning against fear, political alliances, and trust in human power. Isaiah contrasts human arrogance with God’s sovereignty and speaks of both imminent judgment and future hope. This section culminates in the promise of a coming king from David’s line, a child who will rule with justice and whose kingdom will have no end.
