Cuenta la historia que hace 413 años un 03 de febrero La Ciudad del Espíritu Santo de La Grita fue destruida por el Terremoto de San Blas, el dolor y el drama toco a todos los habitantes de este importante poblado, lo cual llevo a que Fray Francisco un monje católico hiciera la promesa de esculpir una imagen de Cristo que sirviera como apoyo y depositario de todas las rogativas que el pueblo de la Grita necesitaba hacer luego de tal calamidad, es de esta forma como poco a poco intentaba darle forma a la imagen, pero sus acciones no daban resultados positivos y el tiempo seguía corriendo y las personas necesitaban una imagen ante la cual expresar sus oraciones, es así como una noche el taller de carpintería se iluminó por completo, mientras que el sonido de las herramientas hicieron despertar al Fray quien al abrir la puerta quedaría impresionado con lo que estaría por ver, ya que se trataba de ángeles que con sus propias manos le habían dado forma al Cristo del Rostro Sereno que conocemos hoy en día.The truth is an incredible story that I love to tell and listen to, it is a story that throughout the tour resonates in my mind and helps me think about so many things, it allows me to reflect and at the same time opens my mind to the enormous and mysterious that is the life that has not touched to know. Con el pasar del tiempo esta estructura se ha convertido en el símbolo de las luchas revolucionarias de la izquierda venezolana, pues debido a su estratégica ubicación ha sido el escenario de diversos acontecimientos que marcaron la historia de mi país.

El Cuartel de la Montaña como se le conoce hoy en día, es en la actualidad un mausoleo, un museo y un establecimiento militar de gran importancia para la capital, por lo tanto es muy común escuchar y ver desde la comodidad de mi casa los diversos actos políticos y militares que allí se llevan a cabo de forma continua, a decir verdad es un lugar que cuenta con mucho movimiento de personas, en donde cada día cientos de visitantes se acercan al lugar para descubrir los secretos que esconde en su interior.

Bailando con mi AbuelaMi familia se caracteriza por contar con un espíritu muy alegre, en donde el baile, la diversión y la navidad son los componentes perfectos para celebrar y compartir, como ya les he comentado en ocasiones anteriores mi abuela con sus mas de ochenta años es el miembro mas longevo del grupo, sobre sus hombros pesa las dificultades no solo de la edad sino de una enfermedad como el Parkinson, la cual ha disminuido considerablemente sus capacidades motoras, pero que gracias a un efectivo tratamiento y a su espíritu luchador ella sigue siendo fuerte como un roble y con una voluntad que la impulsa hacia delante.

En lo personal yo no se bailar, este es un arte que desafortunadamente no he aprendido a dominar, pero igual dado el mismo paso, con diferente velocidad y con cara de pasarla bien hago el intento de salir a la pista y así no sol aprendo un poquito más sino que también contribuyo en pasar un rato agradable con todos, es por ello que en esta ocasión saque a mi abuela a dar un paso, justo con mi merengue favorito (Una Fotografía de Bonny Cepeda) comenzamos a danzar por la sala de su casa y entre risas, alegrías y profunda felicidad logramos compartir un momento verdaderamente increíble.

Esta acción sirvió como incentivo para que mi papa y mi tía también se levantaran a bailar, dando una clase de pasos, movimientos y sabor lograron encender la fiesta y así transcurrieron casi tres horas en donde entre bailes, cuentos y chistes pasamos una noche diferente, le dimos la bienvenida a la temporada mas bella del año y disfrutamos juntos como una familia unida y alegre. Espero que muchos otros momentos como este se repitan y que mi abuela siga contando con mucha más fuerza y ánimo para seguir siendo el pilar fundamental de nuestra familia.

A mi parecer volar es una de las experiencias más emocionantes que uno pueda vivir y si ese vuelo constituye el inicio de una nueva aventura entonces las emoción se multiplica por mil, este caso no sería la excepción y por lo tanto me disponía a cubrir la ruta Caracas (Aeropuerto Internacional de Maiquetía) – La Fría (Aeropuerto Nacional Francisco García de Hevia) esto con la finalidad de asistir entre los días 5 y 6 de agosto a la peregrinación del Santo Cristo de la Grita.
This is a route that I know very well, since on many occasions I have traveled to the city of La Fría, therefore, the trip would be marked by a climate of trust and security, since I would reach well-known places, this time I chose to travel with Laser Airlines, since it was the one that offered the cheapest ticket price and a more comfortable departure time (01:00 pm) and considering that this trip would only last 1 hour, everything was great.
Esta es una ruta que me conozco muy bien, ya que en múltiples ocasiones he viajado a la ciudad de la Fría, por lo tanto, el viaje estaría marcado por un clima de confianza y seguridad, ya que llegaría a lugares conocidos, en esta oportunidad opte por viajar con la Aerolínea Laser Airlines, ya que era la que ofrecía un precio del boleto más económico y un horario de salida más cómodo (01:00pm) y tomando en cuenta que este viaje solo duraría 1 hora entonces todo estaba super bien.

Llegue al aeropuerto 2 horas antes, de forma muy rápida realice el check in y luego de ingresar al área de embarque me dispuse a esperar a que llegara el momento de abordar la aeronave, mientras tanto pude disfrutar de ver los despegues y aterrizajes de múltiples aviones de diferentes aerolíneas tanto de pasajeros como de carga, situación que me lleno de curiosidad y me impulso a buscar en la aplicación del aeropuerto para ver cuáles eran sus orígenes o destinos.

Ya a bordo del McDonnell Douglas de Laser nos dispusimos a despegar, fue una maniobra muy tranquila y poco a poco nos elevamos un poco más de 30 mil pies de altura con destino a los andes venezolanos, todo el trayecto estuvo marcado por grandes cúmulos de nubes que en varias oportunidades hubo que esquivar, pero en reglas generales no hubo presencia de turbulencia ni de ningún otro factor que perturbara la tranquilidad del viaje.

No importa la cantidad de veces que uno vuele, estas imágenes siempre tienen el poder de sorprendernos, ya que en cada trayecto encontraremos algo nuevo que mirar, una pregunta por responder y miles de fotografías que capturar.
The trip was within the planned time, little by little we descended and settled down to land in La Fría, by this time the immensity of the plain was present, the scattered trees looked to the horizon, while the brown rivers and the cattle farms were everywhere, the landing was quite rough, hahahaha let's just say it was a surprise for everyone, but nothing to worry about. Going down the steps of the plane I realized that the airport was very nice and freshly painted, then when I received the bags everything was super fast, it only took us about 15 minutes, I liked these two elements a lot and they caused me a good feeling I am sure that my trip through these lands will be very successful, soon I will tell you how the pilgrimage to La Grita was. El viaje estuvo dentro del tiempo previsto, poco a poco fuimos descendiendo y nos deponíamos a aterrizar en la Fría, ya para este momento la inmensidad del llano se hacía presente, los árboles dispersos se miraban hasta el horizonte, mientras que los ríos de color marrón y las fincas ganaderas estaban por todos lados, el aterrizaje fue bastante brusco, jajajaja digamos que fue una sorpresa para todos, pero nada de que preocuparse. Al descender por las escalerillas del avión me di cuenta de que el aeropuerto estaba muy bonito y recién pintado, luego al recibir las maletas todo fue super rápido, solo nos tardamos unos 15 minutos, estos dos elementos me gustaron mucho y me causaron una buena sensación, estoy seguro que mi viaje por estas tierras será muy exitoso, pronto les contare como estuvo la peregrinación a la Grita. ¡¡Saludos!!

Al ser un bebé tiene una energía inagotable y siempre quiere estar jugando, le gusta correr por toda la casa, le fascina que lo carguen y le hagan cariños, se distrae mucho con la pelota, la taza de la comida o con un dado que tiene por juguete, últimamente le gusta mucho esperar que uno se descuide para esconder los zapatos y así hacerse el loco mientras uno los busca por toda la casa, afortunadamente no los muerde y bueno esperamos que sea una etapa que pase pronto jejejejejeje.
Tiene una forma de ser muy tierna y amorosa, siempre quiere estar al lado de alguien para ser consentido, ya sabe cómo pedir comida o agua y es un experto llamando la atención de cualquiera. Duerme durante toda la noche y suele despertarse muy temprano en la mañana, al instante busca a mi tía para avisarle y así comenzar un nuevo día, lleno de energía.
En cuanto su raza de una mezcla entre shih tzu y maltés, lo cual le aporta un largo y bello pelaje, el cual lo cubre por completo haciéndolo parecer un oso de peluche, ya todos los miembros de la familia lo conocen y sin dudarlo sea ganado el cariño y el afecto de cada uno.
