Travel Thoughts & Rambling

Dj Quik has been my favorite rapper/producer since I was in junior high school.

Recently, I thought about this question. Dr. Greg Carr broached the subject two days ago. Shimrit Lee wrote about this topic, too. What do you think about it?

I Found Nubians at The Getty Villa | Los Angeles Adventures | BBRAVELER | iSee109 |  I visited the Getty Museum a couple of weeks ago. Today my wife and I visited the Getty Villa. On my first visit I did not see Africa represented in the exhibits. However, I found representations of Africa at the Getty Villa. This Nubia exhibit was not marketed all around the city of Los Angeles, however. The people who can benefit mostly from seeing this exhibit do not know it is on display. I hope that I am doing my part to spread the word. Go see the exhibit for yourself. It costs only $20 for parking. Of course you also have to pay for gas and/or transportation.

My Instagram page reveals what was on my mind in 2019. I retell the events that were so poignant and impressed me at that time. From a dream in which I saw a vision of my future book's cover to the murder of Nipsey Hussle, these events shaped my understanding of my life's mission. Or at least I had a story to tell and possibly sell. Either way, I knew what I had to do. Now you can learn the story and events that inspired 109.

한국말 조금 할 줄 알아요.

I talk about my Korean language learning journey.

I retell my 109 stories for new listeners. I also incorporate the Anchor tools to improve the quality of my podcast. I hope you enjoy it.

Listen to two Black men discuss some issues in our society. We don't have the answers, but we certainly have control over our minds.
