یہ  فلک  یہ  ماہ  و  انجم  یہ  زمین  یہ  زمانہ

ترے  حسن  کی  حکایت  مرے  عشق  کا  فسانہ

یہ  ہے  عشق  کی  کرامت  یہ  کمال  شاعرانہ

ابھی  منہ  سے  بات  نکلی  ابھی  ہو  گئی  فسانہ

یہ  مرا  پیام  کہنا  تو  صبا  یہ  مودبانہ

کہ  گزر  گیا  ہے  پیارے  تجھے  دیکھے  اک  زمانہ

مجھے  چاک  جیب  و  دامن  سے  نہیں  مناسبت  کچھ

अभी मुँह से बात निकली अभी हो गई फ़साना

ये मेरा पयाम कहना तू सबा मो’अदबाना

के गुज़र गया है प्यारे तुझे देखे एक ज़माना

मुझे चाक-ए जेब-ओ-दामन से नहीं मुनासबत कुछ

ये जुनूँ ही को मुबारक रह-ओ-रस्म-ए आ’मियाना

तुझे हादसात-ए पैहम से भी क्या मिलेगा नादाँ

तेरा दिल अगर हो ज़िंदा तो नफ़स भी ताज़ियाना

वो अदा-ए दिलबरी हो के नवा-ए आशक़ाना

Be it a heart-stealing manner or the call of love, he/she who wins hearts is the greatest/real conquerer of the world.
