    मैं हूँ तफ़्सीर-ए दर्द-ए बे-आवाज़

    खुल रहे हैं हयात ओ मौत के राज़

    अए ग़म-ए दोस्त तेरी उम्र दराज़

    बीच में हो अगर न पर्दा-ए राज़

    न हक़ीक़त है कोई और न मजाज़

    नक़्श-ए हस्ती पे तब्सरा कैसा

    ज़िंदगी राज़ और मौत भी राज़

    इश्क़ का कारोबार, अरे तौबा

    पहले अंजाम बाद है आग़ाज़

    हश्र में भी न जो खुलें शायद

    ऐसे भी कुछ हैं वारेदात-ए राज़

    कोई आसां नहीं है तय करना

    जादा-ए इश्क़ के नशेब ओ फ़राज़

There are at least two collections of Ghazal and nazm. There is precious little by way of biographical information but it seems that he was associated with teaching (perhaps urdu) in some college in kolkata. This Ghazal, in the zamin of Ghalib’s ‘maiN huN apne shikast ki aavaaz’ is linked to Ghalib naqsh-e qadam.
