We recently traveled to Malaysia, where we had the privilege of interviewing YAB Dato' Seri Amirudin Shari, the Chief Minister of Selangor, to discuss Islamic tourism and the political landscape of Malaysia.

When asked what message he would share with Muslims worldwide about Selangor, YAB Dato' Seri Amirudin encouraged people to visit and experience the country's harmonious multicultural and multiracial society alongside its flourishing Islamic heritage.

Thareed, or tharid, is a highly nutritious Middle Eastern dish consisting of meat chunks, vegetables and a thick sauce served over pitta bread or flatbread. This dish has deep roots in Arabian culture.

The Prophet (PBUH) said, "Many men reached perfection but none among the women reached perfection except Mary, the daughter of Imran, and Asia, Pharoah's wife. And the superiority of `Aisha to other women is like the superiority of Tharid to other kinds of food."
