  • Taraweeh Teachings Day 23- The Day the Moon Split and We Ignored the Signs
The hour is near, and the signs are clear—but are we truly awake? Allah split the moon as a miracle for Quraysh, yet they dismissed it as magic. Today, we too witness countless signs in our lives—blessings, warnings, and moments of hidayah—yet we delay our change. Surah Al-Qamar and the Prophet ﷺ’s vivid description of the Day of Judgment paint a chilling picture: mountains reduced to dust, the earth flattened, silence across creation, and every soul driven to accountability. On that day, arrogance will shatter, and nothing will remain but our deeds in the court of the Almighty.
What will come of this day for us?

  • Ramadan Reflection Day 20- What Gaza Needs: The Spirit of Mecca’s Liberation– Dr. Abdul Wahid
The Liberation of Mecca—a moment that reshaped history—took place during the sacred month of Ramadan, most commonly marked on the 20th day. After the Quraysh’s allies violated a ceasefire agreement, the Prophet ﷺ saw the moment had come. With 10,000 disciplined Muslims moving toward Mecca, fully armed yet under strict orders to avoid bloodshed, the Prophet ﷺ demonstrated unmatched strength tempered with mercy.
Today, as Gaza bleeds and Palestine remains under brutal occupation, this monumental event is not just history—it’s a roadmap.

  • Taraweeh Teachings Day 21- Destroyed by Wind, Humbled by Arrogance
Allah doesn’t just tell stories; He breaks them down in vivid, humbling detail so we can take lessons from them.
Such is the case of Surah Fussilat where Allah (swt) shows us the downfall of the mighty nations of ‘Aad and Thamud, who, despite their strength and architectural marvels, were destroyed by something as simple as wind and sound.

  • Ramadan Reflection Day 20- What the Liberation of Mecca Teaches Us Today– Dr. Abdul Wahid
In the blessed month of Ramadan, the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ led a defining moment in Islamic history: the peaceful liberation of Mecca. Despite a force of 10,000 Muslims prepared for battle, the Prophet commanded restraint, emphasizing mercy over vengeance.
As we witness the ongoing oppression in Gaza and the occupation of Palestine, surrounded by capable yet inactive Muslim nations, the lesson from Mecca becomes urgent. The strength of unity, principled leadership, and the vision of Islamic civilization offer a path forward.
Just as Mecca embraced peace, so too can Palestine be liberated—not through chaos, but by reviving the Prophetic model of strength, mercy, and resolve.

  • Ramadan Reflection Day 19- Gaza, Pharaoh, and the Power of Divine Justice– Dr. Abdul Wahid
In a time when the horrors from Gaza flood our screens and weigh heavily on our hearts, a timeless verse from the Qur’an offers a beacon of hope and perspective. Allah (swt) says:
    وَنُرِيدُ أَن نَّمُنَّ عَلَى الَّذِينَ اسْتُضْعِفُوا فِي الْأَرْ‌ضِ وَنَجْعَلَهُمْ أَئِمَّةً
And We intend to favor those who were held as weak in the land and to make them leaders. Surah Al-Qasas (28:5)
It reminds us of Allah’s divine promise—to elevate the oppressed, to grant them victory, and to establish them as rightful inheritors of the land. The very tyrants who seek to crush them will live to witness the rise of those they tried to bury.
This reflection powerfully connects the struggles of Bani Isra’il with the current oppression faced by the people of Gaza.

  • Taraweeh Teachings Day 19- The Power of Good Expectation from Allah(swt)
The Prophet ﷺ narrated that Allah says:
I am as My servant expects Me to be. (Sahih Bukhari Muslim)
This means our trust, hope, and expectations from Allah determine how we experience His mercy, guidance, and support. If we expect Allah to help us, He will. If we doubt His aid, we weaken our connection with Him.
