Ghazwat Tabuk (Battle of Tabuk), the final time the Prophet (ﷺ) was to accompany his army on a mission, began in Rajab of the 9th year After Hijrah.

News reached the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) that the Romans were preparing to raid the North of the Arabian Peninsula in order to wipe out the memory of the spectacular tactical withdrawal which the Muslim army had staged in the battle of Mu’tah.

This time He (ﷺ) decided to face the foreign threat himself, so He (ﷺ) drew up a plan designed to finally kill off any ambitions that the Roman leaders held about interfering in the affairs of the Muslims or any thoughts that they may have entertained about raiding their lands.

Az-Zajjaaj said, “Man’s love for Allah and His Messenger is to obey them and to accept what Allah (ﷻ)  has commanded and the Messenger of Allah  (ﷺ) has brought.”

The speaker explains the meaning of loving & pleasing Allah (ﷻ) in light of the normalizing of relations with the Jewish entity. 

Several small missions & battles are addressed after the Battle of Hunain and before the Battle of Tabuk.

Missions and platoons were sent to various tribes in the Arabian Peninsula.  Dispatching these platoons to all regions of Arabia was a necessity as the the prevalence and domination of security on all lands of Arabia.

We realize children need schools, but we worry about how they will be safe.  Aside from the apparent dangers of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), we worry endlessly about the less talked about danger of losing their Islamic identity to the secularized mentality prevalent in all school systems, be it Islamic or public schools.   

The speaker discusses the problems and provides immediate and a comprehensive solution for all communities to this problem from the Islamic perspective.  

Battle of Taif was in fact an extension of the Battle of Hunain because the majority of the defeated troops of Hawazin and Thaqif went into Taif and fortified themselves within it.   

Very important lessons were learned in the distribution of wealth gained from the spoils of war by the Messenger of Allâh (ﷺ).
