  • Yankee legend - Jim Leyritz

Un-drafted out of college, Jim Leyritz had to fight for everything he has. But that grit and tenacity not only led to his wearing Yankee pinstripes for a living, but also to him hitting not one, but two pivotal home runs to help the Yankees secure World Championships in 1996 and 1999, earning him an indelible spot in New York history. The incredible mosaic of this incredible island is never more prevalent than with the inimitable Suzzy Roche.

But Suzzy doesn't stop there -- she is also a novelist...and a phenomenal one. Her latest, "The Town Crazy", is one of the most compelling and fascinating stories that I have ever come across, and we get to hear all about it, straight from the source.

  • Entertainment Columnist & Biographer Michael Starr
A lifelong Entertainment Columnist and Biographer Michael Starr resident of greater New Netherland, Michael Starr has been chronicling the incredible events and happenings of the entertainment world here and everywhere.

Growing up in the suburban shadow of the greatest city on Earth, this kid from northern New Jersey was taken by the magic of this place, by this 'business of show'...and just like our show does, he eventually came to focus on the critical element within it -- the CHARACTERS who make that history. And he has penned remarkable biographies on classic entertainers including Art Carney, Joey Bishop, Bobby Darin, Raymond Burr, Redd Foxx, William Shatner, Ringo Starr, and soon - Don Rickles!

He has been reporting on entertainment in New York since the Dinkin's administration, so he is already a piece of the incredible history of this incredible place.

He is the purveyor of the Starr Report, but today he is THE star, he is OUR star...he is a gentleman and a scholar and we are so honored to have him as our guest. He is New York's own, entertainment columnist and author, Michael Starr.

  • Actress Indira Varma
After coming out of the gate very strong in 1996 in the provocative and seductive, I also think, sad film Kama Sutra, she astutely perceived  the realities of type-casting, she turned away many, many early offers and turned to an entirely different medium -- the stage -- and over the ensuing years established herself as one of the foremost theatre actresses anywhere.

Whether you've seen her in Game of Thrones, Rome, ABC's For Life, anywhere on the stage or in the upcoming THIS WAY UP (Hulu) or OBI WAN (Disney+), then you know what a dynamic talent she is -- as well as a lovely spirit, as you will see.

Come along to hear all about her remarkable career that shows absolutely no sign of slowing.

Dames en heren, I present to you, the one and only Indira Varma.
