Jesus came to offer a new way of living: a new type of life. A life that would last into eternity. A life based on him as the TRUTH. A life that rejects power and control, and self-preservation. A life lived like his - surrendered and submitted. A life where we are not our own king.

We were made for community.  Community is in our DNA.  When God created man, he made him to be in community with him.  God himself is in perfect community, by nature of the trinity.  He lives in this perfect community with himself and wants to have community with us.  That sounds great, but the big problem is, we are human, and humans tend to make everything messy.  We ultimately want community, we desire connection, but there are so many obstacles that we create for ourselves and that the world creates for us.
