Isolation Tips from the Professionals - Aaron Linsdau

Right now, all of our customers are grappling with the effects of lockdown, and we felt it would be useful to interview some unique individuals who are experts at dealing with isolation, and can offer some insights on how they coped when things got tough.
 
The next in our series is American Adventurer, Aaron Linsdau.

Aaron is the second only American to ski alone from the coast of Antarctica to the South Pole, setting a world record for surviving the longest expedition ever for that trip.  

Everything he needed was in two sleds, dragged across the wastelands of Antarctica. Only 2 weeks into his expedition, the 70 pounds of butter he had brought along for energy turned rancid due to solar radiation. He also fell ill with a severe chest infection but battled through this and overall took a world record 80 days to reach the pole. In summary, Aaron knows a thing or two about isolation and resilience.
