Abū Mūsā al-Ashʿarī رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ, a sahabah blessed with a beautiful voice to the point the prophet ﷺ said “O Abū Mūsā, you have been given a voice for recitation from the instruments of the house of Dawūd.” [Bukhārī] He continued to strive for the deen even whilst on his deathbed. ʽAbdullah ibn Masʽūd رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ was a companion of the blessed prophet ﷺ and a majority of Fiqh Hanafiyyah [Hanafi School of jurisprudence] is based on his accounts and interpretations. He was regarded the greatest mufassir of Qur'ān.  He رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ said “If someone wants to know whether he loves Allāh, then let him consider his relationship with the Qur'ān.
