Evan immigrated to Israel 33 years ago, and in 2010, he established Wise Money Israel, the only licensed Israeli wealth management firm that is Jewish believer-staffed and owned. The firm assists individuals and organizations to partner with Israel through investing in Israeli stocks and bonds in shekels. Wise Money manages approximately 400 million shekels in Israeli stock and bond portfolios for hundreds of clients from 35 nations. Beyond his professional work, Evan is a deeply rooted leader in the Land, living daily at the intersection of faith, economy, and national life in Israel. He and his wife Sarah lead a Hebrew-speaking congregation in Israel. Evan sits on the boards of Israel’s largest believer-run humanitarian group, The Joseph Project International, and the believer business economic forum Israel First Fruits. He serves as the Secretary for Israel for the International Messianic Jewish Alliance, and also on the National Steering Committee for Hebrew-speaking Messianic congregations.

In Christianity, this hints directly at a time of judgment – after which all things are set aright, made new. Come Lord Jesus.

Turkey, Iran, Ai, blood libels against Israel, treaties and threats and tyrants are all on the stage at once. No wonder we can’t always hear the dialogue! But John is here to help us sort a lot of it out through his many contacts, his legal mind, and his ability to connect dots of many things all at once. Today with JB we take a look at the major themes of the bible: Creation, Conflict, Covenants, Conquests, Captivities, Incarnation, the Cross, the Church and the Culmination of all things. Some might say, all that matters is that we agree on the gospel. Well, it can also be true that the saving gospel comes to us in the fullness of time, but also that much more can and must be learned about how we got there, from the promise in Genesis 3:15 to “it is finished”. It’s a full and glorious revelation! Let’s never forget the whole counsel, the big picture – and study to show ourselves approved.

On today’s Headline edition of SUFTT, Tim and Mary look at the anniversary of 9/11. While some still maintain that it was an “inside job” of the US government, we find overwhelming evidence that it was an Islamic attack on the US. What is the one thing we are seeing take place in our nation among all threats? Islamic encroachment of our nation in alarming ways. This makes the conspiracy aspect null and void because, well, they are already “inside”. ISLAM is the inside job. And to say that 3000 families were “in on it” is as disturbing as it gets. There are also those who claim that Oct 7 was an inside job – the IDF. Everything is Israel’s fault. These are cringe/fringe beliefs at best but even believers get caught up. At any rate, we take some time to take the temperature of our nation 25 years later. We also look at Israel’s prep for a wider middle east meltdown, more evidence of Islam in America, and truly, seeing as everything will dissolve, what manner of persons ought we to be at this point? Hint: holy, and godly. An hour to see where we are at and what to do about it- in the end. What truly matters?

On today’s edition of SUFTT, Tim and Mary look at the proverbial canary in the coal mine – warning shots, test patterns, wake up calls and shots across the bow – all things God uses to get our attention on the times. The prophets at the very least, who they chose not to listen to, embodied God’s early warning system. In this case, Israel being not just God’s time clock but is also a warning and a test as to how we will treat and deal with a regathered Israel that God will redeem. The professing church is failing at it in many ways, completely misunderstanding Scripture about how He feels about His people. God’s Word is still the plumb line. How Israel is treated is actually a wake up call as well, as will be how the world treats the church through hate crime legislation and flat out persecution. Many will lose their lives in the tribulation from martyrdom, the Bible is clear about that. Birth pangs too, are warnings that God uses to preview the tribulation. Is anyone listening?

It’s complicated in a way, but finding that balance between knowing and not knowing is often very difficult and can steal our joy and energy. Today we look at the idea of free will and why some say that humans are so depraved they can’t choose anything having to do with eternity. We look at the religion of the day: tolerance. And the end game, which is the more the culture becomes tolerant, the more they marginalize Christians who appear to be INtolerant but in reality only point up the intolerance of the culture. We look at the increasing inroads of Islam and the ignition point of Europe today: France. A full hour of headline – choices.

With the “dog days” of Summer upon us, and the Europeans still clueless as to what true Summer heat is like in the south, we bring post-Independence Day headlines. In this uniquely lazy time of year, finding connected headlines is very difficult so we have a real smorgasbord of information. Yet we can always find a way to point to God’s faithfulness and His soon return. Today we have a few thoughts on the 4th in hindsight, namely a thoughtful piece from Ken Ham about how we can sing “God Bless America” but refuse to follow Him and His commands.  Then we look at some of the perils of the upcoming primary and election season, as the uber-radical left attempts to swing our nation so far left it might end up at the fascist right. We also look at the perils of allegory in Bible interpretation, and a new experimental vaccine that might just be the vaxx-to-end-all-vaxxes, which tells us one thing in particular: it was never about a virus, always about a vaxx. A full hour of slightly disjointed but interesting headlines for the Summer of ’26.

On today’s edition of SUFTT, Mary takes a look at Psalm 73 as a much-needed answer to the wrestling we all do in the face of a world gone awry. Levite, prophet and worship leader Asaph, author of a dozen Psalms, takes us on a tour through his heart and mind over the seeming success of the rich and famous of his time. We wonder at times what he all struggled with, since we have all the knowledge of good and evil at our fingertips through global media. Nevertheless, he certainly had his share of wrestlings when it came to being distracted by those who had it all, and gave no thought to their own eternity. Why do people who know they will die at some point seem to not even care how it all ends? Asaph knew that God is good, and He has a covenant with Israel – but he still had lots of deep questions for His Maker. But has God ever taken away those who vex us with instant relief? No, the rich and carefree have been with us always, it is US who change after being with our God, in His house. A great lesson for us all who struggle with cultural issues and how to respond in our hearts with a life of contentment.
