Israel’s consul general to the Midwest on Wednesday sat down with News 8's Dakarai Turner to talk about the war between Israel and Hamas.

Yinam Cohen, who is based in Chicago, was a special guest at Tuesday night’s State of the State address from Republican Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb. Cohen says lawmakers and the governor expressed their support of Israel.

Cohen talked about his conversations with Holcomb and the lawmakers, and about calls from the Biden administration.
