Hezbollah leader Samir Kuntar was killed this week in an explosion outside of Damascus. The Israel Defense Forces believed that Kuntar had been killed in an airstrike back in June. Hezbollah leaders blamed Israel, but the Free Syrian Army has taken responsibility for the attack.

• Officials in Israel and Turkey are discussing how to normalize relations following a five-year hiatus, caused by a controversial 2010 military operation against pro-Palestinian activists that left 10 dead.

• The Fellowship’s Senior Vice President Yael Eckstein was honored this week with a Mesorah award from Colel Chabad, Israel’s oldest charity.

• An Israeli doctor is on the cusp of developing an anti-aging drug. Dr. Nir Barzilai currently is petitioning the Food and Drug Administration to begin testing the anti-aging medication.
