In the last 24 hours, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered "powerful" and "forceful" strikes on Gaza, claiming Hamas violated a US-brokered ceasefire. The Israeli military's actions marked the most significant escalation of violence since the truce went into effect on October 10, 2025. Both Israel and Hamas have accused each other of breaching the ceasefire.
