As thousands of Israeli kids from the Bnei Akiva religious Zionist youth movement were celebrating the culmination of a month-long period of festive activities, Hamas tried to ruin the party by firing rockets at the southern town of Sderot. The Sderot youth who gathered for their event were shaken but not defeated as they sang "the eternal nation is not afraid of a long journey." The message was clear - the Jews have been targeted by her enemies for thousands of years, but we're finally home, and not going anywhere.
