James & Marcellus discuss the harsh realities of navigating relationships from family, friends, girlfriends and so forth. Living in the midwest rural area, we face a surplus of ignorance. At points in our past, ignorant ourselves due to the lack of education and Black representation is presented. We discuss having the first realization that we're the "token" black guy among certain groups of people and share stories on how we move going forward.
Issa Kickback Epi. 42: Kicking it w/ Eyesayge (DIY Promoter, Recording Artist, Booking Agent)
Joining me on Issa Kickback, B. Henshawe and I finally got to kick it and chop it up. Previously I worked with B. Henshawe on his Road to a Milli tour. I never got the chance to know him or about his career in depth. We discussed his passion for the creative process with music and how he refrained from posting right away as he accumulated his following on tik tok. B. Henshawe also shares tips for people who want to venture down the path of influencer, while also breaking down how often he implements his own sound onto his platforms, and how he even reached his current level of success. B. Henshawe is currently sitting at 337k Youtube subscribers and 882k Tik Tok Followers.

Prerecorded, Marcellus and James sat down to discuss some of the changes that come from separation, independence, scheduling and more. You know adult things. A big topic was navigating the dating scene and how much everything has changed. Women have embraced the hookup culture more than back in the day so am I scoring or is she?! Just jokes, but things have definitely changed.

March 19th, we put on our first show in Jacksonville, IL! First big thank you to all the performing acts, North S.T.A.R.R., Reed Starks, JoeL Stevenson, AyeBee, LeoTree, Pj Wolf, Khamarry, CHISongwriter, Arzellus and MC FlyRich for coming out and sharing their energy! Took a 300 cap room and put 40-70 people in there throughout the night. Speaking on our favorite performer and the creative talent. Critiquing my abilities as a host but as well as what artist should try to get out of each showcase they take part of. Then my favorite part, speaking on the artist and how hopeful I am for their future!
Who was your favorite performer?
