This week, we welcome Isabella Matchett, a soon-to-be fourth year Sociology student, who is passionate, and well-informed on various Queer theories and issues. Isabella sheds light on the Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Policy 713, which is now being revised in the province of New Brunswick. Isabella shares some up to date research regarding the revisions of this policy and discusses how these changes lead to various issues for Queer youth in New Brunswick.

Comparison is something we are all guilty of and take part in. Comparing our successes and accomplishments to other people’s can often lead to low self-esteem and decreased well-being. 

On this episode, Sarah and Kale aim to describe the notion that sometimes, comparison can be used as motivation and that all successes, whether big or small, deserve to be celebrated. Life is not a race and everyone has their own finish line.
