Hey there, my mama friend! Welcome back! I'm so grateful you chose to tune into this podcast today and spend a little time with me. I hope my message today brings you peace and confidence within your role as a parent.
Let me ask you a question. Would you consider yourself an all-or-nothing type of person?
I definitely am and have been for most of my adult life. I'm a very passionate and driven person, and when I find something that resonates with me and moves me, I grab on and refuse to let go sometimes.
Of course, the other extreme end of that spectrum also applies. If something doesn't resonate with me or move me, I cut it off or avoid it like the plague.
It's a sneaky characteristic, for sure. One that leads to: *procrastination *hesitation *self-sabotage *perfectionism
These traits might end up causing us to do things like:
*avoiding filing paperwork on our desk if we can't clean the entire office at the same time *not starting a business or not promoting it if it's not perfectly set up *not starting a project if we don't have all the tools *not writing that book until we have the perfect title *taking away ALL privileges from our teen who lied or misbehaved, rather than letting the punishment fit the specific crime *quitting a business if we haven't made "x" amount of money by an arbitrary date, rather than focusing on the success we HAVE created
All of these actions stem from self-limiting thoughts or beliefs.
In today's podcast, I offer some insight as to why we do these things to ourselves and how to break those patterns and replace them with more effective ones. Go check out the full episode to hear more.
Everything in life doesn't have to be all or nothing. There is SO much in between!
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope to meet you right back here next time so we can rise up together!
