When Jesus Christ uttered the words, "It is finished," it was not a cry of despair or defeat, but a thunderous proclamation of victory over sin and Satan. Jesus Christ lived to fulfill the law perfectly, and He died to pay a debt none of us could ever repay.
Today, as we reflect on the death of our Lord, we are reminded that through His suffering, His blood, and His sacrifice, we are no longer bound by sin and the judgement it carries. We are redeemed.
This sermon was preached by Rev Christopher Poshin David on April 3rd 2026, at Trinity Presbyterian Church, Chennai.
