What does it mean to obey and to be free?

I found out the hard way that sometimes it’s God making all the wrong things right, especially for those who remain loyal to Him. Of course He prefers obedience. Any sane parent would, but our loving Father continues to love us despite our disobedience, He just always calls us back home.

And this is ultimately the freedom that Jesus is talking about.
