Your body matters—but it was never meant to become your identity.
In the first episode of our October series, Steward Your Body, we’re exploring the tension between caring for our physical health and allowing wellness, appearance, or fitness to become something we worship.
Using 1 Timothy 4:8 as our Verse of the Week, we’re talking about what Scripture says about the value of physical training, why caring for your body and finding your worth in your body are two very different things, and how we can pursue strength, health, and physical goals from a place of stewardship rather than punishment or obsession.
You don't have to hate your body into taking care of it. And you don't have to make your body the center of your life to believe it's worth caring for.
If you're ready to build sustainable wellness habits rooted in care rather than extremes, learn more about coaching with Trophy Life Wellness.
What does it actually mean to be healthy from the inside out?
As we close out the Healthy From the Inside Out series, we’re stepping back to look at the bigger picture of biblical wellness. Because true wellness isn’t about perfection, endless productivity, or finally getting every area of your life under control.
It’s about stewardship.
God has entrusted us with our hearts, minds, bodies, relationships, gifts, and purpose—and wholeness means inviting Him into every part of our lives.
In this episode, we’re talking about God’s vision for whole-person wellness, what it looks like to care for yourself without making yourself the center of your life, and why the goal isn’t to become the “best version of yourself.” It’s to become more like Christ as He transforms every part of who you are.
And if you’ve ever wondered what Trophy Life Wellness is really about, this episode is the heart behind the mission.
In this episode, we’ll talk about:
Verse of the Week:
“Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.”
— 3 John 1:2

Many of us believe that saying “yes” to everything is what faithfulness looks like.
But Jesus modeled something different.
In this episode, we’ll look at the example Jesus gave His disciples in Mark 6 and discover why healthy boundaries aren’t selfish—they’re an important part of faithfully stewarding our time, energy, relationships, and calling.
We’ll talk about burnout, people-pleasing, margin, and learning to love others without neglecting what God has entrusted to us.
If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed or stretched too thin, I pray this conversation gives you permission to slow down and seek wisdom instead of simply staying busy.
Verse of the Week:
“Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.”
— Mark 6:31

Your thoughts shape the way you experience your life—but not every thought you have is true.
In this episode of It Is Well, we’re talking about what Scripture teaches us about renewing our minds and becoming more intentional about the thoughts we allow to take root. Using Philippians 4:8 as our foundation, we’ll explore how our thought lives affect our emotional and spiritual wellness and what it looks like to bring our thinking back to the truth of God’s Word.
We’ll talk about overthinking, anxiety, comparison, negative self-talk, perfectionism, and fear—and how easily those patterns can influence the way we see ourselves, our circumstances, and even God.
Renewing your mind doesn’t mean pretending difficult thoughts or emotions don’t exist. It means learning to recognize what you’re dwelling on, challenge the lies you’ve accepted, and intentionally return your attention to what is true.
If you’ve been stuck in your head lately, struggling with comparison, or allowing fear to write stories about your life, this episode is an invitation to examine your thought life and make room for God to transform it.
Verse of the Week:
“Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure... think about such things.”
Philippians 4:8
🎧 It Is Well by Trophy Life Wellness explores the intersection of Christian faith, mental wellness, healthy habits, fitness, and becoming well from the inside out.
We often think lasting change begins with changing our habits. But what if it actually begins much deeper?
In this episode, we kick off our Healthy From the Inside Out series by exploring God's promise to give us a new heart and what it means to faithfully steward the work He's doing within us. We'll talk about why true wellness starts internally, how everything in our lives flows from our hearts, and why lasting transformation is always an inside-out process.
If you've ever felt like you're trying to change your life without first addressing what's happening beneath the surface, this conversation is for you.
Verse of the Week:"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you..."Ezekiel 36:26
Episode 35: Becoming More Like Jesus
As we wrap up our August series, Becoming More Than Accomplishing, we come back to one final question:
What is all of this transformation ultimately for?
Throughout this month, we've talked about habits, perseverance, character, and spiritual growth. But none of those things are the destination—they all point to one greater purpose: becoming more like Jesus.
In this final episode, we'll explore 2 Corinthians 3:18 and discover the beautiful truth that transformation isn't about becoming the best version of ourselves. It's about reflecting Christ more clearly with every passing day.
Whether you've been encouraged, challenged, or stretched throughout this series, I pray this conversation reminds you that God's greatest desire isn't simply to make your life better—it's to make you more like His Son.
Verse of the Week:"And we all... are being transformed into His image with ever-increasing glory..."2 Corinthians 3:18
Episode 34: Character Before Circumstances
When life gets difficult, our first instinct is usually to ask God to change our circumstances.
But what if, before He changes the situation around us, He's doing something even more important within us?
In this episode, we'll unpack James 1:2–4 and explore how God often uses trials to produce perseverance, deepen our faith, and shape our character in ways comfort never could.
We'll talk about why difficult seasons aren't necessarily interruptions to God's plan, how He faithfully redeems even the hardships we would never choose, and why our greatest growth often comes through learning to trust Him in the middle of uncertainty.
If you're walking through a season that feels heavy, I pray this conversation reminds you that God is still working—even when you can't yet see everything He's accomplishing.
Verse of the Week:"Consider it pure joy... whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance."James 1:2–4
Episode 33: The Slow Work of Transformation
Have you ever felt discouraged because your growth seems painfully slow?
Whether you're pursuing healthier habits, growing in your faith, or praying for God to change your heart, transformation rarely happens as quickly as we'd like.
In this episode, we'll look at the beautiful promise found in Philippians 1:6 and talk about why God's greatest work is often the work we can't yet see. Together, we'll explore why lasting growth takes time, why hidden seasons aren't wasted seasons, and how God is faithfully developing deep roots long before visible fruit appears.
If you've been wondering whether your quiet faithfulness is making any difference, I hope this conversation reminds you that God is never finished with the work He has begun.
Verse of the Week:"Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus."Philippians 1:6
Episode 32: Every Habit Is Shaping Someone
We often think of habits as tools for reaching our goals—working out to become stronger, eating healthier to lose weight, or reading our Bible to become more disciplined.
But what if our habits are doing something much deeper?
In this episode, we'll explore how every repeated choice is quietly shaping the kind of person we're becoming. Through Luke 16:10, we'll discover that God cares deeply about the "little things" because ordinary faithfulness is where extraordinary transformation begins.
We'll talk about how our daily routines, thought patterns, conversations, and spiritual disciplines are forming our hearts, and why the person you're becoming matters far more than simply checking another habit off your list.
If you've ever felt like your small choices don't matter, this episode is a reminder that every ordinary day is another opportunity to become a little more like Christ.
Verse of the Week:"Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much..."Luke 16:10
Episode 31: Who Are You Becoming?
We spend so much of our lives chasing the next goal, the next milestone, or the next accomplishment that we rarely stop to ask a more important question:
Who am I becoming?
As we begin a brand new series, Becoming More Than Accomplishing, we're taking a step back from measuring our lives by what we produce and instead looking at the transformation God desires to do within us.
In this episode, we'll explore what Romans 12:2 teaches about true transformation, why our identity was never meant to be rooted in achievement, and how God often does His greatest work through ordinary faithfulness rather than extraordinary accomplishments.
We'll also talk about how this truth applies to wellness, why lasting change begins with becoming someone new—not just doing something new—and how shifting the question from "What did I accomplish today?" to "Did I become a little more like Jesus today?" can completely change the way we define growth.
Whether you're pursuing fitness goals, building a business, navigating a new season, or simply trying to follow Jesus faithfully, I pray this conversation reminds you that while you're busy building your life, God is faithfully building you.
Verse of the Week:
"Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—His good, pleasing and perfect will."
Romans 12:2
