"The Kepler Curse" is part of the Kepler radio play series by Kevin Kennedy. Produced by JJ Gordon, local actors and actresses share their talent to bring the fictional town of Kepler, ND to life.

In this episode, the town prepares for their 150th anniversary celebration. The school children are prepping a pageant, the big rock on the edge of town was power washed and Helen Schneider has written a book about the founding of the town and it's history. When a mysterious stranger shows up and shatters the well known history of the town founder, Klaus Kepler, chaos ensues. What will Jack do with this new information? Will Mrs. Fisher live her dream of being a Broadway star? Will Helen sell enough books so that her husband Gil can finally park in the garage again?

The world premiere of "The Kepler Curse" was November 26th 2021 during It Takes Two with Amy & JJ on The Mighty 790am and 104.7fm KFGO.

Jessi Zenker brings a lot of joy into the KFGO studio as she announces the 2021 fundraising total from RDO Caters Taters for Charity that benefits the great work being done by BIO Girls.

This spud-tacular tradition of giving has contributed nearly $900,000 to local charities since it began more than 20 years ago. 

"It seems fitting that RDO Taters Caters is the week before Thanksgiving,” Missy Heilman, BIO Girls founder and executive director said. “The board and staff of BIO Girls are filled with gratitude – gratitude for RDO and its employees for all the work they put into making the event a success.” Annually, BIO Girls reaches 1 in 25 girls in North Dakota. The organization’s strategic goal is to expand this to 1 in 6 girls by 2025, a 300% increase.Whether you are an RDO Caters Taters veteran or this was your first event, thank you to all who showed support in any and every way possible. This tradition of giving has contributed nearly $900,000 to local charities since it began more than 20 years ago.

It's a Mural-icle in Rutland, ND. Their community club enlisted the help of Shelly Fink (who calls Rutland her childhood home) to create an original piece of art that shows off the history, fun and people of Rutland. Not only does a "Greeting from Fargo" style mural exist, but Fink also made a giant hamburger painting and wings that feature wheat! Make a point to travel down to to Rutland and take a peak for yourself!
