The US is conducting trials of plasma transfusions for COVID-19 patients. In these trails, plasma from people who have recovered from the virus will be used in those still fighting it. Vitalant in Fargo expects to be able to collect these donations by the end of the week. Additionally, the need for blood still exists and they are calling on younger donors to step up.
