All eight of Karen R Lacy Children’s Book series are packed with adventure and fun, but especially, four emphasize “It Takes a Team!” sometimes to get things accomplished.

            “We Rescued Rusty” shares an emergency situation. All the dogs in the doggy park work together to retrieve their precious little friend, Rusty from the human kidnapper. 

            In “Katie Saves Penguie,” the ice Penguie stood on separated him from the ice his family and friends were on. Wally Walrus and Gail the Seal strived to help, but it was Katie the Killer Whale who came to the rescue.

            “Taffy is Lost!” happens when Taffy became distracted and wandered away from her mother. Taffy had to ask many strangers and friends for help, such as monkeys, a cheetah, leopard, lion and others. Taffy asked Ella the Elephant, who knew where her mother was. Taffy learned a valuable lesson.
