In Today's Lesson Plan: Instructor Sonny is back with another series!

May is Mental Health Awareness Month and all month long we will be focusing on mental health and how it relates to us and our community. Mental Health/Illness is something very near and dear to Instructor Sonny and other classmates. The objective is to help bridge the gap on how mental health impacts us knowingly and unknowingly every day.

TAs Megan Kearney and Dr. Jillian Lynum step into the classroom and share their information on daily life in working with people who have Mental Health challenges. Jillian and Megan both can speak from a perspective where their professions of being a therapist and social worker has allowed them to see a lot more of a need within our community as it relates to help, resources and guidance.
