However, one expert strongly opposes the idea, arguing that it could make children even more vulnerable.
Professor Amanda Third told Peter Fegan on 4BC Breakfast, "By evicting children from social media, we are giving those companies [social media platforms] no incentive to design for children and we need much better fine-grained, strong regulation to really ensure that we can keep children safe online."
