Do you know what's stopping yourself from learning and growing? It's your attitude, which has turned into ego!
As it's Tuesday, I've kept it for Tuning our Attitude!
I've seen thousands of participants come into training, stating, 'I know it all. I don't know why I was asked to attend this training.' That's where the problem lies - they're trapped in a situation called 'IKIA' (I Know It All), and that's the biggest tragedy in one's life.
By admitting you don't know, you'll open up many aspects of your life: wanting to know, longing to know, seeking to know, and seeking knowledge and information will become your natural habit.
This will further lead to experiencing and applying what you've learned.
I remember a life-changing incident from Vivekananda's life: then known as Narendra, was searching for answers about life and himself. He heard about Swami Ramakrishna, a spiritual teacher in Dakshineswar, and decided to visit him.
When he arrived, he knocked on the door and was asked, 'Who are you?' Narendra replied, 'I'm here to find that out.'
Ramakrishna was impressed with Narendra's honesty and invited him in and guided him on a journey of self-discovery and spiritual growth, and later gave him the name Vivekananda.
As Vivekananda's story demonstrates, the seeker of knowledge will always find a teacher, and the teacher will appear when the student is ready.
So, put your ego aside and be mindful of the people and environment around you to learn and thrive in your life!
