Show Notes This episode goes into how to get started with reading, if you're a beginner reader or if you've just stepped into the world of Reading Like me, I wanted to throw some helpful tips (probably) out there to get started with Books or to keep going. This is the intro to Becoming a Better reader. Starting out can be a little daunting/intimidating as there are so many good books out there! So here are some Points that I discuss in this Episode:- 1. Don't read what you don't like. Pick up a Book, Don't Like it, Don't Read it. Move on to the next one it's fine. - A Quote for Your Reading Room, " Read What You Love, Until You Start to Love Reading" 2. Use a pencil. Something to Guide your Eyes is Really Helpful. It also Improves your Reading Speed. 3. Cut the Inner Monologue. 4. Skip through. - Books Give you loads of examples to make a point clear. Sharpen your judgement and when you notice something being repeated, Skip It! Also, If a book is good take your time. 5. Read more than One book at a time. 6. Schedule time For reading. Making Reading A Priority.
Books Talked About :-
Philosophy/Fiction - Siddhartha By Herman Hesse
Self Help - Tools of Titans By Tim Ferris
A Thing or Two About Sex :- Come as You Are By Emily Nagoski

Pragyan shares his thought on why people have social anxieties, what his anxieties look like and some techniques that he uses to better deal with them.
I came upon this idea of Horizontal relationship when I was reading the book The courage to be Disliked. I don't think about the default status of relationship that I build with other humans except. There are only three that I know: romantic, friendship and parent-child relationship, but there is more to this. This is the topic of todays discussion. As it turns out this concept is something that plays out in our day to day life, how we interact with others and how we build relationship to others.
I think Pragyan Got lost in the jungle!!
