A MESSAGE FROM AJR: “Where do I begin… I think Chutney music has been written off in many peoples book. Everyone has an opinion of the direction of where it should go after hearing when artists release their tracks. Personally I do not agree with that, I think we should be grateful we’ve got something from our culture to enjoy. A lot people would turn around and say well it’s a Bollywood sing back or rendition yes… but the vibe still is undeniably CHUTNEY.

All that being said, this album’s goal is to defend chutney and give an opportunity to spotlight tracks you don’t even know you like yet. We’ve got brand spanking new track released today… Along with tracks released a while back as well. Right down to the name and even artwork of this album gives you a vibe like yeah… imma go out tonight or gonna have an amazing time and I can’t wait type of thing.

I’d like to thank Richard and Raymond from Dil E Nadan/TeamMusicBoss/BakyardProductions as well as my brother @djruthless27 for the opportunity to be apart of many tracks you’ll hear on this album. Without y’all support I wouldn’t be able to understand this side of things and have a great appreciation for the genre and culture. The first track on this album OVER YOU by RAYMOND RAMNARINE, is a certified BANGER and it’s just a blessing to be able to not only be featured on this incredible album but to be apart of the production of it, so appreciative and grateful.
